Oncology & Hematology
At Northwest Medical Group - Hematology and Oncology, we treat many types of cancers, including advanced stage and complex cancers. Physicians can see you at their offices in La Porte, Valparaiso and Knox. For patients needing chemotherapy or radiation, those treatments are provided in the Cancer Care Center on the first floor of the Northwest Health – Porter Medical Plaza in Valparaiso.
Treatments may include chemotherapy, medicines, nutritional counseling, transfusions, anticoagulant therapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, radiation, surgery or a combination of therapies.
We also treat patients with a variety of blood disorders, including anemia, lymphoma, leukemia and coagulopathies, among others.
