About
C. Adam Conn, M.D., medical director - wound care services, knew by the age of 13 he wanted to be a doctor, and, as he was going through medical school at the University of Louisville, he felt drawn to surgery.
Dr. Conn is board certified in general surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY, where he also completed his surgical residency.
In addition to traditional general surgery, Dr. Conn performs minimally invasive, robotic-assisted surgery as well as advanced laparoscopic techniques. He performs all general surgery procedures including single incision gallbladder surgery as well as the more complex minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgeries.
He has performed hundreds of procedures using robotic surgery and serves as a proctor training surgeons throughout the United States. Robotic surgery allows him to perform complex procedures, while often allowing patients to endure less pain and recover faster, allowing them to return to their daily activities sooner.
Dr. Conn is also experienced in advanced wound care and treats patients in La Porte Hospital’s wound care department.
