Northwest Medical Group Welcomes General Surgeon to Northwest Health - Porter

Northwest Health is welcoming general surgeon Jeremy Luedtke, M.D., back to Northwest Medical Group. Dr. Luedkte practiced at the Northwest Medical Group – General Surgery office in La Porte for several years before relocating to Wisconsin and has now returned to the organization.
With nearly 20 years of experience in providing advanced surgical care, Dr. Luedtke brings experience along with a caring bedside manner and clinical excellence to the region. He is accepting new patients at the Northwest Medical Group – General Surgery office located in the Medical Plaza at 85 E. U.S. Highway 6, Suite 240, in Valparaiso.
In addition to traditional general surgery, Dr. Luedtke has extensive training in minimally invasive, robotic-assisted surgical techniques. Surgeries he performs include complex hernia repair, upper and lower screening endoscopy, reflux disease surgery, gallbladder disease, skin cancer and mass removal, and surgery of the gastrointestinal tract, including the colon.
As a respected instructor, Dr. Luedtke trains surgeons across the U.S. to use the latest, most advanced surgical techniques – skills that are reshaping the future of surgical and patient care.
After completing his surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Dr. Luedtke served as a general surgeon and critical care physician at Prevea Allouez Health Center in Wisconsin. He then served as a general and robotic surgeon at Northwest Health – La Porte before relocating to St. Clair Hospital in Wisconsin. From there he served as a general minimally invasive robotic surgeon, critical care intensivist and endoscopist at Surgical Associates of Neenah before returning to Northwest Health.
Dr. Luedtke completed his medical education at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and his residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He is board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care, both by the American Board of Surgery, equipping him to care for even the most critically-ill patients.
