Northwest Health Welcomes General Surgeon to Valparaiso

Northwest Health welcomes general surgeon Timothy Husted, M.D., to Northwest Medical Group. Dr. Husted brings nearly four decades of broad experience in general surgery to the hospital and its general surgery group. He joined the Northwest Medical Group – General Surgery offices at 85 E. U.S. Highway 6, Suite 240, in Valparaiso.

Dr. Husted’s experience includes a wide range of open, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgical procedures. Before joining Northwest Medical Group, Dr. Husted served as chief of staff at Flower Memorial Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio, as well as practiced at Toledo Hospital, St. Vincent/Mercy Medical Center, and St. Anne Mercy Hospital, all in Toledo, Ohio.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine at University of Virginia and his bachelor’s degree at Boston University. He completed his general surgery residency at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery.
